Ubisoft Montreal creative director Jason VandenBerghe told the crowd at E3 that For Honor “offers you the opportunity to experience the adrenaline and the danger of melee combat on a visceral battlefield”.
The presentation continued on with an awe-inspiring four on four combat demo between two factions of knights.
The new project dubbed For Honor received an initial CGI trailer treatment followed by a detailed gameplay demonstration. Further information about For Honor can be found after registering on their official website.

All in all, the demo was a short one…but it’s definitely worth taking a look at.
Using the new Art of Battle system, you will have full control over the placement of their weapons. We’ll see how this pans out when For Honor eventually releases on consoles and PC.
The game’s multiplayer was showcased at E3, but it will have a singleplayer campaign, too.
One of the hardest things to get right in any game featuring melee combat is reproducing the feeling of swinging a heavy steel weapon, burying it in some poor chump’s skull, and then pulling it out.
