“‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ has been created to harness the full potential of the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC”, Scott Lowe wrote in Activision’s blog. Black Ops 3 will use a heavily modified version of the IW engine used previously in Black Ops II and in a slightly weird move, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is set to make a cameo in the game. It was also revealed that there will be no Nintendo Wii U version for the game.
Gamers absolutely love local co-op, so just imagine how fun it will be going through story mode with a friend on the same console. That’s what they said when they premiered multiplayer footage at Sony’s PlayStation presentation at E3 2015. – More on that deal soon.
When it comes to the consoles that Call of Duty: Black Ops III will support, current gen is not the only one the title will reach.
The new partnership between Activision and Sony marks the first time the critically acclaimed Call of Duty franchise will cater to PlayStation first over Xbox.
Additionally, new weapons, killstreaks, and even a mech is featured as well. The game’s multiplayer beta, however, will only be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We should receive more information about the game when E3 begins next week.
